Ghost Horse Vineyard
The Ghost Horse Vineyard is in the famous Coombsville Appellation located in the Southeastern part of the Napa Valley up against the Vaca Mountain Range. The Vaca Mountains climb to 2,818 feet (858.93 meters) above sea level.
The vineyard was planted in the year of 1997 and purchased in 2001 by Todd Anderson, who has owned vineyards since.
The total property is 3.08 acres and the vineyard is slightly smaller than 2 acres with approximately 2200 vines per acre. The row spacing is 5 feet and the plant spacing is 4 feet.
The vineyard is managed to produce approximately 4 tons of fruit which will yield between 200 to 240 cases of wine.
There are 5 separate distinct Cabernets that are produced from the vineyard. Each of the wines are 100% Cabernet, come from a different part of the vineyard and have wine making techniques applied that are unique to each wine. Ghost Horse Wines, located inGhost Horse World, is in Napa and just a short drive from downtown St. Helena. Ghost Horse is lucky enough to sit in the lap of Napa Valley which affords our talented winemakers access to some of the finest grapes in the world.
